We visited Godogodo, in Jama’a Local Government Area of Southern Kaduna, on Thursday, 25th March 2021 to see Grace Magaji, a young Nigerian woman, who struggled with heart failure for more than 3 years.
Grace was a 31-year-old mother of 1 child, a wife, and a native of Southern Kaduna, in Kaduna State.
We learned of her story through one of our followers on social media. When we visited her house, Grace told our team in an emotional state that she began experiencing issues with her heart immediately after she delivered her child in 2018. And for three years, she went in and out of hospitals, struggling to seek medical attention. Unfortunately, she used all her money and it got to a point where she no longer had money to purchase the prescribed drugs.
After much effort we put into seeking help for Grace, unfortunately, she eventually gave up the ghost, leaving behind her 3-year-old daughter.
