The event, organized by The Emmanuel Ivorgba Center in collaboration with the Centre for Faith and Community Development took place from Friday, 14 March, to Saturday, 15 March, 2025 at Novel Suites, Rayfield, Jos, Plateau State. Through our membership in the Plateau Peace Practitioners Network (PPPN), we were opprtuned to be part of this impactful event, with our staff, Hafsat Muhammad representing us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure sizes=\"(max-width: 911px) 100vw, 911px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Key highlight of the event was the focus on educating young Nigerians on the need for patriotism, ethical behavior, and national values, which aligns with our mission to empower communities and foster social well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>On the first day of the event, Friday 14, a representative from the National Orientation Agency provided insights into Nigeria\u2019s national symbols, values, and the upcoming National Brigade initiative set to launch in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pastor Michael Ekerete, spoke on National Pride and Patriotism, emphasizing the need for self-rebranding, community engagement, and critical thinking in becoming a responsible citizen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prof. Joseph Maren reinforced the importance of personal integrity in nation-building, stating that a strong nation is built by ethical, honest, and just on digital citizenship, reminding participants that online behavior reflects personal values and that one\u2019s digital footprint lasts forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Jacob Pwakim explored the role of national ethics in shaping responsible youth, urging them to engage in governance, redefine success, and advocate for ethical values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program concluded with the decoration of National Ethics and Values Ambassadors, who will champion these principles in Plateau State and we are excited to have one of us represented in this noble task.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
