Various deliberations were covered on the persistent cycles of violence affecting various parts of the state, despite over two decades of efforts by the government and other stakeholders to resolve the conflicts. Maj.-Gen. The task force, established in 2010, comprises the Nigerian Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), and the Department of State Security (DSS).
