At Africare Peace Initiative, we are passionate about promoting peace education and empowering young minds to become agents of change.
Our organisation partnered with Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) to conduct a Peace Education program for students at Zawan Community School in Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State.
Over the course of 7 weeks, our team took the students on an interactive journey through the HWPL’s Peace Manual, exploring essential topics such as:
- The definition of peace and its significance in our lives
- The importance of harmonious coexistence and unity in diversity
- Embracing our differences and promoting a culture of peace
The students were enthusiastic and engaged throughout the sessions, and we were excited to see them grasp the concepts and ideals of peace education.
The goal of HWPL’s Peace Education is to nurture “citizens of peace” and “peace messengers” who can work together to spread a culture of peace globally. We are honored to be part of this initiative and look forward to spreading the message of peace to other communities.
