Educational support to IDP Students in Jos, Plateau State

On April 22, 2021, our team visited Christian Faith Academy/High School in Jos South, Plateau State, with a mission to deliver educational materials donated by STEFANOS FOUNDATION.

These materials were provided to us to present to vulnerable Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) students at the school.

When we stepped into the school premises on that day, we were met with the bright smiles of the students, who clearly have seen many hardships. They were forced to flee their homes, leaving behind everything they knew and loved, due to conflict and violence in their regions. Some of them have lost family members, friends, and their entire community, but despite all this, they are determined to succeed.

As we distributed the educational materials, we saw the joy in their eyes. These materials were more than just books, but a symbol of hope, and a reminder that they are not forgotten, and their dreams are still within reach.

The school management, including the administrator, Mrs. Temitope Aiso, and the principal, Mr. Abiodun Adeyeye Nimze warmly welcomed us.

We appreciate the school management for their support and partnership in bringing hope to these deserving students.

Our immense appreciation also goes to Stefanos Foundation for providing us with these materials.

At Africare Peace Initiative, we believe that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future for all. This is why we are dedicated to supporting vulnerable students achieve their dreams through education, we do this to achieve our mission of promoting peace through education in communities.
