Ms. Rachel Nuhu Birma is the founder and Executive Director of Africare Peace Initiative, an organization dedicated to promoting peace, empowering vulnerable women and girls, and equipping young people with education and vocational skills.
Rachel's journey began with her education in Television Journalism at the NTA Television College, Jos, where her passion for storytelling emerged. She worked with Stefanos Foundation, where she covered the stories of conflict-ridden communities and gave voice to survivors of crises in Nigeria's North and middle belt regions. This experience deepened her desire to create sustainable solutions for conflict prevention and resolution.
Driven by her passion to amplify her impact, Rachel pursued a B.Sc. in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolutions at the National Open University of Nigeria. Her dedication to peacebuilding and social change is evident in her active involvement in policy advocacy through the Open Government Partnership (OGP), Plateau State, and her leadership in Africare Peace Initiative. She has strengthened resilience in marginalized communities and curbed violence stemming from poverty and social frustration.
Rachel's commitment to peace and security has also earned her several key roles and memberships, including:

Rachel has conducted peace education activities for Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) with students in Plateau State, sensitizing them on the need for peace.
Her dedication has led to significant impacts in Nigeria, including creating sustainable programs for vulnerable communities, leading peacebuilding and skills training programs, conducting educational peace initiatives, and shaping conversations on good governance, transparency, and social well-being.
Rachel is passionate about lifelong learning, mentoring, and grassroots peacebuilding, she believes that peace is possible when we embrace diversity, understanding, and build bridges of coexistence.

Mrs. Tina Panam Percy is a passionate advocate for women's empowerment. She hosts monthly live sessions on Facebook, where she teaches both married and unmarried women about self-discovery and maintaining peace in their homes. With over 30 years of experience as a counselor, Mrs. Percy has dedicated her life to supporting and uplifting women.
She is the wife of the legendary gospel icon in Nigeria, Dr. Panam Percy Paul, who’s music has captured the hearts of several people around the world and has uplifted their spiritual lives.

Sheikh Muhammad Nuru Khalid is a respected Islamic scholar, preacher, and social commentator known for his commitment to justice, good governance, and the empowerment of communities. He is the founder and chairman of the Islamic Research and Da’awa Foundation, an organization dedicated to spreading Islamic knowledge and fostering positive change.
He previously served as the Chief Imam of the Apo Legislative Quarters Mosque in Abuja, where his fearless sermons on social and political issues earned him both admiration and controversy.
Sheikh Khalid is committed to fostering peace, justice, and the empowerment of the Muslim community, using his platform to inspire positive change.

Mrs. Christiana Aiso Temitope is the founder of Rare Rhesus Care Foundation, an organization that caters to people with rare blood types, where they seek donors whenever there is a need. The organization also sensitizes students at schools and conducts free blood-group tests for girls.
She is currently the Administrator of Christian Faith Emunah Schools, Wurin Alheri, in Du, Jos South Local Government Area of Plateau State

Reverend Daniel Nuhu is a Christian cleric, and social advocate, known for his dedication to community empowerment through compassionate act.
He serves as a leader in the United Church of Christ in Nigeria (UCCN), popularly known as HEKAN Church, where he plays an active role in the spiritual and social development of his congregation. His passion for supporting vulnerable persons has driven him to establish schools that provide free education to children of widows, and with the support of generous individuals, these schools offer a lifeline to families in need, ensuring that education remains accessible to their children.
In addition, Reverend Nuhu set up a cooperative where he teaches people how to save and build their livelihood. Through practical workshops and community-driven initiatives, he empowers individuals to achieve financial independence and improve their quality of life.
He is committed to promoting peace, justice, and the empowerment of the less privileged, using his platform to inspire positive change and uplift those in need.

Dr. Orinya Agbaji Orinya is a veterinarian, social justice advocate, and community development expert with extensive experience in anti-corruption, gender justice, and youth empowerment initiatives in Nigeria. He holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Agriculture Makurdi and a Master’s Degree in Veterinary Medicine (Animal Production) from the University of Rwanda.
As the Programme Manager of Priests Assembly Peace and Social Justice Initiative, he has successfully mobilized faith leaders and communities across 26 states in Nigeria to address corruption, gender-based violence (GBV), and social justice issues. He is also a certified trainer in financial literacy, leadership development, drug prevention, counselling, and business development, equipping individuals with skills for economic and social transformation.
Dr. Orinya is a passionate advocate for education and youth leadership, he has spearheaded initiatives such as free poultry training for over 500 women in Nasarawa State, community-driven livelihood programs, and a youth mentorship program for student leaders in Plateau State. He has also contributed to international research on toxicology, nutrition, and indigenous food knowledge integration in education.
Orinya is actively involved in faith-base and community organizations, including the Side by Side Movement, a movement that brings interfaith and religious leaders together to advocate for Gender Justice, the Lausanne Movement, and the Believers Network Initiative (BEENET). His work bridges faith, governance, and social impact, advocating for policies that promote equity, integrity, and sustainable development.
With a deep commitment to leadership development, peacebuilding, and humanitarian work, Dr. Orinya is shaping conversations on governance, gender equality, and economic empowerment in Nigeria and beyond.

Barrister Godswill Ashin is an Immigration Lawyer with the Nigeria Immigration Service. He is also a Chartered Mediator and Conciliator, certified by the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators of Nigeria. Ashin's commitment to social justice and peacebuilding is further demonstrated through his training in leadership and strategy from the African Center for Leadership, Strategy, and Development, Abuja.
He is currently finalizing his Master of Laws (LLM) degree at the University of Jos, with a specialization in International Boundaries and Migration.
He has been actively involved in humanitarian services, providing legal support and advocating for the rights of vulnerable people. His work aims to ensure that vulnerable populations receive fair treatment and access to essential services.
Barrister Ashin is a passionate advocate for peace and has participated in various peacebuilding initiatives, collaborating with local organizations to promote conflict resolution and social cohesion. His efforts are driven by a deep-seated commitment to addressing complex issues and promoting peaceful coexistence among diverse communities. He has contributed to creating safer and more inclusive environments.

Rev. Darshak J. Toma is an ordained minister with the United Church of Christ in Nigeria (UCCN), also known as HEKAN. He is dedicated to sound biblical teachings and theological scholarship.
He is the founder of Sustaining the Flame of Hope Initiative, a nonprofit organization that supports orphans and vulnerable individuals in Kaduna and Plateau States, an initiative that seeks to equip beneficiaries with education and vocational training to become entrepreneurs and self-reliant.
Currently, Rev. Darshak is pursuing a PhD at the Midwestern Theological Seminary, in Kansas City, MO United States.

Barrister Oluyemi Adetiba-Orija is a seasoned lawyer with over a decade of experience, specializing in Human Rights, Civil, and Criminal Litigation. She founded the Headfort Foundation for Justice, an organization established in 2019 to provide access to justice for indigent Nigerians. Under her leadership, the foundation has helped over 12,000 individuals and secured the release of 842 innocent inmates from Nigerian prisons. Oluyemi's dedication to justice and human rights has earned her several accolades, including being named one of the BBC 100 Most Inspiring Women in the World in 2021 and the Kindest Lawyer in the World by Nas Daily Media in 2022. In 2024, she was honored with the European Union Sounding Board and Kingdom of Netherlands Youth Innovation Award in the Peace and Human Rights Category. Her journey began in Omuo Ekiti, a rural town in Ekiti State, Nigeria, where she was inspired by her father to pursue education. After completing her secondary education in Kwara State, she went on to study law and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2013. Oluyemi has worked in various law firms and has been a staunch advocate for criminal justice reform in Nigeria. Through the Headfort Foundation, Oluyemi and her team have launched several initiatives, including the "Lawyers Without Borders" project, which provides free legal representation to underrepresented individuals, and the "Bail the Indigent" project, which helps raise funds to pay bail for those in need. The foundation also runs the "Tech Behind Bars" project, aimed at equipping inmates with essential tech skills to enhance their employability post-incarceration.

Mrs. Evelyn Daniel is a director at Danbirma Business Enterprise. She is also a healthcare practitioner, currently administering healthcare services to students and staff at HEKAN schools. In her role, she ensures that the school community receives comprehensive health care, including preventive and curative services, health education, and promotion of healthy behaviors.
Evelyn serves as the head of women's affairs at HEKAN Church in Ikeja, where she actively supports and empowers women in her community. She organizes programs and initiatives aimed at providing economic empowerment opportunities for widows and their children.
Evelyn's commitment to healthcare and women's empowerment reflects her passion for creating a healthier and more equitable society.

Hajiya Zainab Alhassan is a passionate leader dedicated to peacebuilding and women's empowerment in Nigeria. She is the Chairleader of the Plateau Women Peace Initiative, who has played an important role in bringing communities together and promoting peace in a region that has been plagued by many conflicts. Through her leadership, she has helped women become more involved in decision-making and Peacebuilding efforts.
She also serves as the Deputy Chairperson of "No Woman, No Nation, an organization focused on empowering women, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Beyond her work in peacebuilding and women's empowerment, Zainab is also a National Chairleader for the Tinubu Support Organization (TSO), where she plays the role of shaping political conversations and pushing for policies that support peace and women's rights in Nigeria.
